President intervenes to provide employment to sister of late Vidya

(UTV|COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena handed over a letter of appointment to Ms. Nishanthi Sivaloganathan, a Graduate of the University of Jaffna, and the elder sister of Vidya Sivaloganathan who was murdered in Jaffna.

This letter of appointment was handed over to her fulfilling a promise made by the President when he visited the residence of Vidya during a tour Vavuniya last year.

Mrs. Swineetha Weerasinghe, a veteran actress and the Vice President of the Vidya Foundation and Mrs. Saraswathi Sivaloganathan, the mother of Vidya were present on this occasion.
