Russian Naval Ship departs Colombo harbour

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Russian Navy Ship ‘Perekop’ which arrived at the port of Colombo on 18th April on a goodwill visit, departed the Colombo harbour on successful completion of their tour events on Sunday (22).

Sri Lanka Navy bade farewell to the departing ship in accordance with naval traditions.

The crew of ‘Perekop’ who are on a 5 day visit to Sri Lanka, participated in a friendly Soccer match organized by Sri Lanka Navy and they toured to visit some places of religious and cultural value during their stay in the island.
