Pakistan National Defence University delegation calls on Commander of the Navy

(UTV|COLOMBO) – A delegation of Pakistan National Defence University who are on a study tour to Sri Lanka, headed by Major General Fiaz Hussain Shah called on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe on Tuesday (17).

The delegation is comprised of 21 officers including senior officers from Pakistan’s Armed Forces, Civil Services and Officers from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and China, who are undergoing National Security and War Course at NDU. The Pakistan officials held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interest with Commander of the Navy during their meeting. Thereafter, to educate the delegation, Deputy Chief of Staff and Director General Operations Rear Admiral Piyal de Silva delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Sri Lanka Navy.

Director Generals of SL Navy, Defence Advisor of the Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka, Cornel Sajahd Ali and senior officers from the Naval Headquarters attended the occasion. Mementos were also exchanged to mark this event.
