Three Lankans arrested with gold worth Rs. 170 million

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Three Sri Lankans have been arrested while transporting 24 kilograms of gold valued at Rs 170 million, in a boat in the sea area North of Talaimannar, Sri Lanka Navy said.

The boat was intercepted by the Navy while the suspects were smuggling the gold to India.
