Democratic YouthNET exits from Democratic People’s Front [VIDEO]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Democratic YouthNET, the youth wing of Democratic People’s Front (Tamil Progressive Party) led by Minister Mano Ganesan has decided to exit from the DPF due to conflict of political policies, the Organisation announced on Wednesday (11).

“The youth wing has been safeguarding the Leader and the leadership of the party at a time when considerable number of seniors left the party,” the Executive Committee of Democratic YouthNET said adding that “The leadership has not voiced for the cause of political prisoners and the missing persons after taking over the Cabinet Ministry.”

“The youth wing contested in the recently held Colombo Municiapl Council Election and was able to secure 7,000 votes in the constituencies where it contested and of the view that they are answerable to the voters who placed trust in them,” the Organisation further added, “Hence, the youth membership does not wants to carry on the journey of false Tamil politics.”
