Major reforms within UNP following No-Confidence Motion

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The United National Party (UNP) will undergo a major revamp after the No-Confidence Motion, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said on Tuesday (04).

Prime Minister Wickremesinghe has informed the UNP Parliamentary Group that reforms within the Party will be carried out immediately after the No-Confidence Motion.

Accordingly, the UNP Working Committee is due to meet on 07 and 08 April for two special rounds of discussions, and new members of the UNP will be named on 30 April.
