“We worked, but they were not communicated to the people,” Minister Sagala Ratnayaka

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Government has failed to communicate information to the people on the development activities carried out by the Administrations properly, the Minister of Youth Affairs and Southern Development Sagala Ratnayaka stated.

The Minister made these remarks delivering the keynote address on Monday (19) at the inauguration of the Future Minds 2018, the National Higher Educational and Career Exhibition.

“Numerous projects have been implemented to achieve sustainable development goals, but the problem, however, is that such things were not properly communicated to the people. I admit that this is the failure of the present Government,” he stressed.

“However there has been a great progress, especially in the business sector as well as the tourism industry, as a result of the development activities implemented by the Government,” Minister Ratnayaka added.
