UTV | COLOMBO – The protest march launched by the Government Surveyors’ Association has now reached Colpetty area.
They are protesting against an alleged plan by the government to outsource the land mapping in Sri Lanka to an American company.
The protestors had attempted to march towards Temple Trees and then the police had blocked the road from Colpetty junction.
Our correspondent said, however, 5 representatives from the Association were accompanied to Temple Trees for a discussion.
