No-Confidence Against PM Likely To Be Presented To Parliament Next Week By Joint Opposition

UTV | COLOMBO – The proposed no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is expected to be presented to Parliament next week.

The no-confidence motion, according to political sources, will be handed over by the Joint Opposition.

The JO MPs had already held a discussion in this regard earlier this week under the patronage of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Although the no-confidence motion was scheduled to be presented to Parliament last week, it got postponed due to the emergency situation occurred in Kandy.
