(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Kosgoda Police has initiated investigations looking into an incident where a fisherman allegedly gave a death threat to Balapitiya Divisional Secretary.
The secretary was on an official visit to Kosgoda yesterday (01st Wednesday), to inspect fishing nets being used.
Police said that an individual, who was waiting on the beach made the threat at knife point.
Later, police arrested the suspect. He will be produced before Balapitiya Magistrate today (02nd Thursday).
