Seeduwa Crime OIC remanded

UTV | COLOMBO – The Officer-in-Charge of the Crime Unit of Seeduwa Police Station has been remanded until 23rd of this month.

He was arrested by the Investigation officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption while soliciting a bribe of Rs. 25,000 from a businessman from Katunayake.

He was arrested at the vehicle park of the police station.

The suspect was produced before Colombo Magistrate Court today (Mar. 14).
