(UTV|COLOMBO) – Social media is to be closely monitored to crackdown on hate speech, the Government announced on Tuesday (06).

“All communal hate speech posts via social media would be curbed. One of decision made at today’s special ministerial meeting,” Minister of National Coexistence Dialogue and Official Languages Mano Ganesan said in a tweet.
