(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Ten women were arrested by officials Colombo Central Divisional Law Enforcement Unit during a raid at a brothel house in Malay Street, Colombo.
The raid was conducted last evening (31st Tuesday) with a search warrant by the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court. The police also arrested a man and a woman who ran the illegal business.
The arrested women were aged between 29-45 years from Ambalantota, Veyangoda, Seeduwa, Mathugama, Ragama, Aluthgam, Middeniya, Lidula, Hadapangoda, Tissamaharamaya and Kirulapone areas, reportedly.
