Minister Bathiudeen visits Ampara to inspect the situation [PHOTOS]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen called on the Government to take immediate and stern action against the culprits responsible for attacks that took place in Ampara Town Tuesday morning (27).

Minister Bathiudeen visited Ampara on Wednesday (28) to look into the situation that prevailed in Ampara yesterday. During the visit, he inspected the Mosque and Muslim owned-shops destroyed due to attacks.

The Minister stressed that he also informed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to take action against the wrongdoers and punish them, and requested the Government to compensate for the losses.
