(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Railway Department announced on Thursday (22) that the railway between the Talaimannar and Madu Road stations will be closed due to essential maintenance work.
Accordingly, the railway line will be closed at 9.30 AM on February 26 until 2.30 PM on March 2.
Buses will be assigned to transport passengers from Medawachchiya to Talaimannar and other way around until the maintenance work is completed, the Railway Department said.
