(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A training workshop will be held today for individuals and the media to raise awareness on the ethics and rules which have to be followed when using drones.
The workshop will be held at the Government Information Department.
The Ministry of Mass Media said the workshop will focus on the compulsory regulations which should be followed when operating drones via remote control and the ethics that should be protected.
The training workshop is organized after taking into consideration the ignorance over the responsibility and attention of professionals and citizens pertaining to regulations or ethics when using drones.
The Civil Aviation Authority has also extended its support to the move.
