UTV | COLOMBO – Three Indian nationals were arrested with a stock of sea leeches and shark fins at Karamba in Norochcholai last afternoon (Feb. 13).
This illegal stock which was weighed around 1,313kg was valued at Rs. 25 million.
The Police Media Spokesperson said that the three suspects aged 29, 48 and 56 are residents of Tamil Nadu.
Police suspect that the illegal consignment may have been smuggled in from India by boat.
