UNP gets Colombo Municipal Council

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The United National Party (UNP) won the Colombo Municipal Council by obtaining 131,353 votes with 60 members.

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) garnered 60,087 votes along with 23 seats.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) obtained 31,421 votes and 12 seats in the Council.
