President signs Gazette to set up Commission on SriLankan, Mihin Lanka

(UTV|COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena on Friday (02), signed a special Gazette Notification to set up the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to investigate corruption and fraud that have allegedly taken place at SriLankan Airlines and Mihin Lanka.

The five-member commission includes Retired Supreme Court Judge Anil Goonaratne, Court of Appeal Judge Gamini Amarasekera, Retired High Court Judge Piyasena Ranasinghe, Retired Deputy Auditor General Anthony Harold and National Accounting Standards Board Director General Wasantha Kapugama.
