Uva Chief Minister to appear before Human Rights Commission for investigation today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Uva Chief Minister Chamara Sampath Dasanayake is due to appear before the Human Rights Commission this morning over the the alleged incident in which the Principal of a Badulla Tamil Girls School was forced to kneel.

The investigation was launched by the Human Rights Commission pertaining to 2 complaints lodged by the Ceylon Teacher’s Union and the Sri Lanka Human Rights Centre.
