Minister Bathiudeen joins Ampara, Batticaloa candidates to consolidate LG Election victory [PHOTOS]

(UTV|AMPARA) – Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen recently participated in series of meetings to confirm the victories of candidates who are contesting under the All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) for the forthcoming Local Government (LG) Election from Ampara and Batticaloa Districts.

Minister Bathiudeen was greeted by a large crowd and received a strong support from locals in the area, and it is reported that the Minister has received major welcome that was similarly given to the late Muslim leader M. H. M. Ashraff in the past.

Rallies were held in Maruthamunai, Pottuvil, Irakkamam, Addalaichenai, Kalmunai, Nintavur, Akkaraipattu in Ampara District, and in Oddamavadi, Meeravodai, Manjanthuduwai, Kattankudy in Batticaloa District.
