(UTV| COLOMBO) – The casting of postal votes at Elections Offices, District Secretariats, and Police Stations for the forthcoming Local Government Elections commenced today (22) at 9.00 AM.
Public sector employees whose applications for postal voting have been accepted can cast their postal votes today from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM.
The Elections Commission said nearly 560,000 state employees are eligible to cast postal votes for the forthcoming Local Government Elections.
The Commission added all due proceedings to mark postal votes have been completed.
