Navy nabs 3 Indian fishermen in Sri Lankan waters

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Three Indian fishermen who were engaging in illegal fishing in Sri Lankan territorial waters off South of Mannar were nabbed along with their Dhow by a Coastal Petrol Craft attached to the North Central Naval Command.

While searching the apprehended fishermen, 410 mg of heroin was found secretly hidden inside the body of one fisherman. The apprehended Dhow, three fishermen and heroin were handed over to the Mannar Police for further investigation and legal action.
