Hambantota Port workers suspend strike following talks

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Workers attached to the Hambantota Port today (19) suspend a hunger strike following talks with the authorities.

The workers had been protesting against a deal reached between a Chinese company and the Sri Lanka Ports Authority to operate the Hambantota Port.
