President to make a special statement on Central Bank Bond Commission Report today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena will make a special statement today (03) to media on the final report of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) into the Bond Issuance of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

The report was handed over to President Sirisena on December 30, 2017.

The Commission’s Chairman Justice K.T. Chitrasiri handed over the report and two other members of the Commission, Justice P S Jayawardene and retired Deputy Auditor General, V Kandasamy were present together with the Secretary to the Commission, S Udugamsuriya and Secretary to the President, Austin Fernando.
