UTV | COLOMBO – Commissioner General of the Educational Publications Department IMKB Ilangasinghe says certain factions are spreading false rumours that the government has discontinued issuing text books to students of government schools.

Speaking at a media briefing held at the Ministry of Education, the Commissioner General said the Ministry could not issue certain text books before the schools closed for the year due to a printing delay of the State Printing Corporation.
