Committee on Privileges to probe calls between Aloysius and COPE members

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Committee on Privileges directed to determine whether Parliamentary privileges have been breached by revealing details of telephone conversations that had taken place between the owner of Perpetual Treasuries Limited (PTL) Arjun Aloysius and several COPE (Committee On Public Enterprises) members.

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya informed the Parliament of the decision during Tuesday’s (21) Parliament session.
