(UTV|COLOMBO) – A 57-year-old Police Sub-Inspector (SI) shot himself using his service rifle at the Police quarters in Mulleriyawa earlier today (21). The deceased individual is a resident of Mulleriyawa.
The cause for the suicide is yet to be determined.
Mulleriyawa Police has launched further investigation into the incident.
