(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – All vehicles will be checked up to 31st January for covering the mirror with curtains on the driving seat or for using tinted glasses, by local police stations said the Police Headquarters.
It started on Thursday (19th Jan) and drivers will be advised to remove tinted glasses and the curtains on the driving seat and legal action will be taken against drivers not adhering to this advice.
Using tinted glasses and curtains have resulted in a higher number of accidents.
