Set of proposals by Kotte Sri Kalyani Samagri Dharma Maha Sangha Sabha to President

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Kotte Sri Kalyani Samagri Dharma Maha Sangha Sabha presented a set of proposals to President Maithripala Sirisena.

The proposals were on the path should be taken to face the national and religious ideologies emerging in the country.

The set of proposals includes; establishing of an intellectual independence commission which everybody can agree with, irrespective of political ideologies and religious extremism, investigate the internal and external matters for this situation and identifying the benefits of the settlement of issues.

Maha Nayaka of Kotte Sri Kalyani Samagri Dharma Maha Sangha Sabha Ven. Dr. Iththepane Dhammalankara Thero, Ven. Prof. Bellanwila Vimalarathana Anu Nayaka Thero, and Ven. Prof. Kotapitiye Rahula Anu Nayaka Thero, and Maha Sangha presented these proposals to the President on Tuesday (27) at the President’s Official Residence.
