(UDHAYAM, MONARAGALA) – Forty-eight street children who were engaged in begging at the Kataragama Sacred Site were taken into the protective custody of Uva Provincial Department of Probation and Child Care Services.
The children who were taken into custody by the Department are aged between 2 and 16.
