SLAF medical teams assist flood victims

(UDHAYAM, RATNAPURA) – Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) conducted two medical camps at Madagalthura Shailauththarama Temple and Sri Mahindarama Temple in Ayagama recently to assist the recent flood and landslide affected communities, states Air Force Media.

A number of medical services including Out-Patient Department (OPD) treatment, specialists’ consultation facility (Medical, Surgical, Paediatric, Dermatology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology), minor surgical procedures, basic laboratory investigation facility and Psychological counselling were offered to the people and required medicines were also provided for them.

More than 1,000 patients were treated during the campaign which was conducted by more than 35 medical staff, including five leading medical consultants from Colombo.
