Move to identify ‘Mystery Man’ travelled in murdered Ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen’s car

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – CCTV footages to identify the person who was travelling in the vehicle behind popular National Rugby player Wasim Thajudeen’s car on the day he was found dead will be handed over to the Computer Analysis division of the Colombo University.

This is following the order by Colombo Additional Magistrate today (19th Thursday).

In the meantime, former Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Anura Senanayake and Former Officer-in-Charge of the Crimes Unit of the Narahenpita Police Sumith Perera arrested on charges of concealing evidence in the murder case of National rugby player Wasim Thajudeen have been further remanded till the 2nd of February.
