No Sri Lankan casualties in London tower block fire – Foreign Ministry

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Foreign Ministry stated that no Sri Lankan have been injured in the fire broke out in the 27 story building in West London on Wednesday morning (14).

“We have not received any information of Sri Lankans being injured in the fire at Grenfell Tower at West London so far,” the Foreign Affairs Ministry said, adding that they have not received any reports of Sri Lankan nationals residing in Grenfell Tower apartment block.

However, officials were in touch with the Sri Lankan Mission in London.
