(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The number of missing persons still remains at 77 in three districts including Ratnapura, Matara, and Kalutara, which includes 15, 14, and 48 persons respectively, Disaster Management Center (DMC) said.
According to the latest situation report issued at 0900 hours today (13), 213 deaths have been reported upto date while 6, 249 persons are in safe locations. Of them, 4,163 are from Ratnapura District.
A total of 575, 989 people have been affected in 10 districts while 3, 123 houses have been totally destroyed and 20, 133 houses are partially damaged.
