Health Minister appointed to WHO Executive Council

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Health Minister Rajitha Senarathne has been elected as one of the 34 members of the Executive Council of the World Health Organisation.

He will hold this membership for a period of two years.

This year’s WHO Executive Council was held on 1st and 2nd June at WHO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Minister Rajitha Senarathne also participated at the meeting.
