Joint Opposition lodges complaint against Minister Kabir Hashim

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A complaint has been lodged at the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption and the Criminal Investigations Department by the Joint Opposition against Minister of Public Enterprise Development Kabir Hashim.

United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Parliamentarian Dallas Alahapperuma said the complaint was filed over the government incurring a loss of 98 million rupees through the cancellation of three aircraft by Sri Lankan Airlines.

The Parliamentarian noted that complaints will be lodged against other members of the government in future.
