(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Central Bank of Sri Lanka today (06) denied media reports which said that the Central Bank has informed all the Heads of State and Private Banks not to exchange any Qatar Riyals until further notice.
“The Central Bank of Sri Lanka categorically denies reports by various media institutions stating that “the Central Bank has informed banks not to accept Qatari Riyals’,” the Bank said in a statement.
