Sri Lankan commits suicide in Kuwait

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A Sri Lankan expatriate committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Ardiya area in Kuwait, Arab Times Online reported.

According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the incident, security-men rushed to the location and found the man hanging from the tree with a rope noosed around his neck.

The corpse was pulled down with the help of officers from the General Department of Criminal Evidences, and referred to the Forensics Department.

The details of the deceased were checked to discover he is a Sri Lankan expatriate. Necessary action was taken.
