Seychelles condoles with Sri Lanka on devastating floods

(UDHAYAM, VICTORIA) – Seychelles President Danny Faure has sent a message of condolence on behalf of the Government and people of Seychelles to the President of Sri Lanka, Maithripala Sirisena following the devastation caused by floods which claimed over 100 lives and displaced many others in Sri Lanka.

In his message President Faure remarked that in this time of sorrow Seychelles stood with the people of Sri Lanka and are praying for the families affected by this disaster.

“We also pray for the rescue services working to search for those still missing and we remain hopeful that they will be found safe,” said the President.
