(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A pregnant lady who was rescued in Kalawana gave birth on a Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) helicopter while being airlifted.
She was one of the two individuals who were being airlifted to Ratnapura, while the other recipient was an individual with a heart condition.
It is reported that the mother and her child have been admitted to the Ratnapura Hospital.
