Rs. 150 million allocated for relief measures

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Government has increased the amount of money allocated for the preliminary relief measures in seven districts affected by the flood and landslide, Minister Rajitha Senarathne said Saturday (27).

The government had released Rs. 45 million in this regard and it has been increased up to Rs. 150 million now.

According to the minister, President Maithripala Sirisena on Monday will declare the amounts of compensation paid for the deaths and property damages.
