Prime Minister condoles Manchester attack

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe expressed his deepest condolences over the Manchester terror attack, which took place on Tuesday (23).

Following is the message sent by Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe to the Prime Minister of United Kingdom (UK) Theresa May;

“It is with profound sadness that I learned of the tragic loss of lives and injuries following the dastardly act of terror at the Manchester Arena last evening.

Sri Lanka unequivocally condemns this horrific act of violence. Our thoughts and prayers are with the affected families and the injured.

I express my deepest condolences to you, and through you, to the people of the UK and the bereaved families. We deeply mourn the children, who lost their lives during this terror attack.

Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
