Chandrika Kumaratunga to deliver lecture in Dhaka on good governance

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga has arrived in Dhaka Sunday morning (21) on a four-day visit.

Ms. Kumaratunga will deliver a lecture at Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) on “Reconciling Divided Societies, Building Democracy and Good Governance: Lessons from Sri Lanka” on Tuesday (23).

Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS) is a State-owned Autonomous National Research Institute and think tank undertaking and promoting research and deliberation on international affairs, security and developmental issues.
