(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A Chinese national has been arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake while attempting to leave the country with a large sum of undeclared foreign currency.
Customs officers discovered US$ 24,500 worth over Rs. 3.7 million in his possession. Reportedly, the suspect was headed for Riyadh.
