Rome deports Sri Lankan with expired residence Visa

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A Sri Lankan in Rome has been deported for having an expired residence Visa, viterbonews24 reported.

The Sri Lankan was detained in Rome during a special operation and he was deported to Sri Lanka after it was found his residence Visa had expired.

Investigations found that the Sri Lankan had already been asked to leave the country but he had failed to do so.
