Mahinda-Chandrika Together At UN Vesak Celebrations

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Former Presidents Mahinda Rajapaksa and Chandrika Bandaranaike are seen seated together at the inauguration of the UN Vesak Day at the BMICH in Colombo. The two former Presidents fell out during the last Presidential election when former President Kumaratunga supported the common candidate Maithripala Sirisena who went on to defeat former President Rajapaksa to become President. The two former Presidents were given front row seats on the basis they were former heads of state.
