(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – North Central Provincial Council Minister S. M. Ranjith resigned from his post as a Minister in the Council is protest over the removal of Provincial Council Minister K. H. Nandasena. Mr. Nandasena was removed from his post earlier in the day, reportedly over his support to the Joint Opposition and former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
