President to deliver a statement on Sri Lanka’s economic situation

(UTV | COLOMBO) – President Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to deliver a special statement on the current economic situation, today.

President Wickremesinghe will make a statement in Parliament on the country’s economic situation and securing the support of the international community.

The President during his recent visits to Japan and Philippines held discussions with Prime Ministers of India, Japan and Singapore.

The Head of State also met the President of the Philippines.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe chaired the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank and delivered an address of Asia’s way forward amidst multiple global issues.
