Payment for another Petrol shipment settled

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Payments have been made for the vessel anchored in Colombo Port with a Petrol shipment on Friday, September 30, according to the Ministry of Power and Energy.

The vessel is carrying 36,000 MT of fuel, according to the authorities.

However, due to the non-payments, two more vessels carrying Diesel and another carrying Petrol have been anchored at the Colombo port.

Furthermore, the Ministry states that the initial payments have been made for a crude oil ship scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka in November.
